Veritax Advisors
§ Legal

Email disclosure.

Effective January 1, 2026

These terms apply to email communications sent by Veritax Advisors, LLC (“Veritax”). They supplement, and do not replace, the terms of any engagement letter or other written agreement with Veritax.

1. Confidentiality

Email and attachments sent by Veritax are intended solely for the named recipient(s) and may contain information that is confidential, proprietary, attorney-client privileged, work product, or otherwise protected from disclosure. If you are not an intended recipient, you are not authorized to read, copy, distribute, or act on the message. Please notify the sender immediately and permanently delete all copies.

2. Advice limitation

Any tax, accounting, business, or other professional commentary contained in an email from Veritax is based on the limited facts presented and is intended only for the specific recipient(s) and matter discussed. It is not a formal opinion, has not been prepared with the rigor or due diligence applicable to a formal written opinion, should not be relied upon for any other purpose or transaction, and may not be used or cited by third parties.

3. Secure transmission

Email is not a secure medium. Messages may be intercepted, lost, delayed, corrupted, or contain viruses. Veritax uses commercially reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee the security of any particular message. Please do not transmit Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, financial account numbers, login credentials, or other sensitive personal or financial information to Veritax by unencrypted email — use the secure client portal instead.

4. Privacy

Veritax maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect nonpublic personal information in accordance with applicable federal and state law, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state privacy statutes.

5. No engagement; no waiver

Receipt of an email from Veritax does not by itself create a client relationship. The contents of an email do not waive any privilege, confidentiality, or other protection that would otherwise apply.

6. Updates

Veritax may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
